A body-tracking installation
Google Cloud Platfrom needed a room-scale installation to highlight their premium network’s delivery time across the globe. I jump at the chance to work on installations, and I got to partner with my old friends at Stink Studios to do it.
Two projectors, four Kinects, and up to sixteen participants paired with a super pretty particle system visualization in Unity made for a pretty cool experience.
This was, without a doubt, one of the most sturdy, bulletproof archtectures I’ve ever written. This thing had to just start and run, possibly with a network connection, require little to no user input to look good, and run for hours at a time. Strict memory management with dynamic paricles– woof.
